Tis the month of being thankful.
This week's topic: Why are you thankful for DH?
Re: Thankful Tuesday
Why are you thankful for DH?
Because he makes me laugh every. single. day. I can be in the worst mood ever, on the verge of tears because the day sucked and he will have me laughing in 3 seconds flat. I can try to fight it, but it never works.
One thing that really sticks out right now is how much he cares for me and would give up anything to make sure I am ok. Last week I popped what we think was a ligament in my leg. It has been painfully to walk to the point all I can do is cry as I walk. Saturday, I went with DH to College Station for the game. Because of the pain, I stayed at our tailgate. DH didn?t want to leave me alone knowing I was in pain. He was willing to forgo the game to hang with me. He also has stepped it up at the house by helping me take care the the daily cleaning. What an awesome guy I have!
oooh nice spin on Thankful Tuesday, Mel!
I'm thankful for DH because he is truly my equal partner while still managing to treat me like I'm the most special girl in the world.
Ditto love the twist Mel!
I am thankful for DH because he gives me the freedom to do what I want and be what I want, and doesn't try to change me, but if it's for my own good maybe give me some perspective so I can change myself for the better. He also is always willing to help out around the house with whatever and truly appreciates what I do around the house and for the kids.
April 2010 Siggy Challenge: Next Vacation Destination
First and foremost yesterday he brought me home a chocolate tootsie pop which is the best obv!
Haha but also because he's really good to me even when I'm a grouch. He keeps my feet warm which is key. He's cuddly and he doesn't complain TOO much when I want to watch horrible TV shows. He eats my food and says he loves it even on the rare occasion that something didn't come out as planned. He's great with my grandma's who are 90 which is so great he can engage them in conversation even when my dad's mom isn't having a very lucid moment. Plus he's super cute!!
Because he always makes me feel better when I'm with him. I've had a rough few days for various reasons, and a couple days ago when I was sitting in my pajamas crying, unshowered, bloated, with my face covered in pimples and my now short hair hanging limp, he just put his arms around me and told me that I'm beautiful.
Or because he scoops all 3 litter boxes and does the dishes. That's pretty good too!
TTC #1 since 4/10, Dx: MFI IVF planned for April/May
Because he puts up with me! I tend to *itch and nag a lot because he didn't do something the way I would have done. I don't know many people that would put up with me like he does.
He gets bonus points for saying the perfect things when I'm feeling like crap and for trying really hard to get stuff done around the house on his day off.

Agreed! Nice twist Mel.
I love DH because he's super supportive in everything I do. He has been a trooper with my stupid unemployment and has kept me going this whole time.
Also, we think I may have carpel tunnel in my right wrist, and he's been super helpful with everything since my wrist/hand hurts. Last night he filled out some paperwork for me since it was too hard for me to try to write.
