I have a character who needs a last name. His first name is Justin. Here's a little bit of information on him.
He is 16 and in 10th grade. His family has moved around a lot because of his father's job. With this move, some of his credits didn't transfer, so he's stuck in 10th grade, when he should be in 11th. He's an only child. Both of his parents are married, but their marriage is strained. His dad can be violent, and his mom is very submissive.
Justin has brown, shaggy hair that curls. It usually looks like he just rolled out of bed and didn't even brush it. He has dark brown eyes. He's about 5'6" but muscular. He's not a bulky kind of muscular but a slimmer, toned kind of muscular. He usually wears jeans and t-shirts.
He likes to work out, listen to music, and watch movies. Because he moves around a lot, he usually doesn't make close friends. Justin is charming, sweet, thoughtful, and responsible. He also has a short temper, trust issues, and can be manipulative. Justin isn't sure what he wants to do after high school. His dad wants him to become a lawyer, and his mom doesn't really have an opinion about anything.
Justin starts out as a really great guy in my book. Eventually, though, he turns into a Class A A-hole.
Any suggestions for a last name for him? TIA!

Re: Need help with a name
What's his ethnicity? And what part of the world/US are his parents from? Knowing these could help you narrow down your search.
In the meantime here are some generic sort of last names off the top of my head: Taylor, Davis, Holt, Carter, Miller, Phillips, Anderson, Fairbanks, Banks, Keeler...

Piskulic, which always sounded like the name of a jerk to me.
If he's a certain ethnicity, like Spanish or something, you can type in "common Spanish last names" into google and it will spit back a wikipedia entry with common names. If you do that, you should end up with lots to choose from.
