What's for dinner?

I'm actually cooking tonight! I dealt with whiny men all day, so somehow making a copycat recipe of O'Charley's potato soup is helping me deal with stress. What is everyone else having?

Re: What's for dinner?

  • I have sausage with potatoes marinated in bbq sauce, tomato sauce and Worcestershire sauce in the Crockpot for DH.  As for me I'll probably have edamame.
  • I may do something with rice tonite...like stir fry, or a cranberry/nut/rice bake.

I also with probably do a caeser salad with my own homemade dressing!

  • I have a South Beach Diet recipe for chicken jambalaya I make all the time

  • Tonight was the first night that DH and I were home at the same time to make dinner in over a month!!!! DH made baked potatoes and soft tacos...a totally random dinner but at least we ate in! :-)
    BabyFruit Ticker
  • Spaghetti with Turkey meatballs and a salad.

  • We were supposed to go out with friends for dinner, but they cancelled on us---I am so freaking happy to just hang out at home w/ my hubs!  Left-over chili, maybe a corona, and relaxing!

  • Its my sunday tonight so we are having pork schnitzel with mashed potatos and Zucchini. With root beer floats for dessert! Yummy! But probably not helping the growing waistline. Huh?

  • I am in week 3 of Jenny Craig, so my meals are planned (which I LOVE!)...

Tonight it was salsbury steak (complete with a portioned serving of roasted potatoes and peas with carrots) and I had to add 1 1/2 cups of veggies, so I made my fave...pan-fried spinach! Yummy! (essentially it's sauteed spinach,  in about 1/2 teaspoon extra virgin olive oil and some seasonings)

DH enjoyed a BBQd steak and leftover steamed and seasoned veggies from last night.

     Good eats! :)

  • DH is on Afternoon shift, so isn't home for dinner this week.  Soooo, no real reason to cook anything fancy.  I will probably have lentils on toast, just like last night!

  • Last night DH made us a giant salad. We also had french bread with spinach dip and dipping oil.

I don't know what we'll do tonight. Probably something easy, like pizza. Maybe some rice with peanut sauce. Hard to say.

  • We have NO groceries in our house right now, so I honestly do not know what we'll be eating.  I don't want to eat out again because we ate out last night, and we usually try to only eat out once a week.  I'd like a good pasta dinner or maybe stir fry.  I don't know yet.
