Please recommend your bankruptcy attorneys.
Long story short. My sister was in a committed relationship for 10 years. They bought a house and then eventually split. She tried working with the 1st and 2nd mortgages but they weren't willing to work with her. She couldn't refinance based on her own income and the fact that the house was under water. She did get some renters but that only helped in the short term. The 2nd mortgage company is pursuing a judgment against her and former bf. She needs legal advice.
