What's for dinner tonight?
I think it will be beef stroganoff (like the hamburger helper variety but gluten free). I have take Remington to the vet so I won't have much time to plan anything else.

Re: WFD Wednesday
Ugh! Thanks for the reminder....I totally forgot to take chicken out of the freezer. So looks like I'll have to stop by the store on my way home.
My plan was to make this chicken, bacon, ranch pasta with some peas. So tasty and really fast.
oooo sounds tasty
. you can always defrost the frozen chicken with your microwave if it has that setting!!

Oh ya! I forgot about that. I hardly ever do that....maybe I should try that instead of buying more. Considering I just bought some on Monday!
The dish is super tasty...Chris likes it which is a bid deal since he's the pickiest eater ever. Here's how to make it:
-chicken cut to bite sized pieces
-crisp up some bacon in a pan, cut to small pieces
-brown chicken in same pan, keep the bacon drippings
-add some frozen peas if you want!
-when chicken is cooked, add most of a packet of ranch dressing mix. Add in some milk and flour to thicken
-while cooking everything, made some pasta (I use spiral noodles)
-mix everything together once sauce is thickened
Voila! Tasty meal in less than 30 minutes!
I had a meal planned, but last night DH decided to take me out to dinner because today is my birthday!! We are trying to save money since I'm not working full time right now, and eating out was one of the first things we cut out. But since it's a special occasion, out to eat we go!!
Happy Birthday, Sterl!
All the talk about crockpot recipes made me try something new last night. I put a piece of pork in the crockpot overnight with bbq sauce and a few other things. I turned it off when I woke up. Tonight when I get home, I am going to shred the meat for pulled pork sandwiches.
Happy birthday!!
I'm making stuffed chicken tonight. Found the recipe last night and it seems super easy. All you do is half the chicken and put a spoon full of pesto on the chicken and then motzerella cheese and then bake it for 45 minutes. Sounds so easy! We'll see how it goes tonight
Thanks ladies!!
I've got pulled pork on the list for tomorrow! I was going to make it today, but it got pushed back. Let me know how yours is!!
YUM!!!
I love my husband...2 nights in a row now, he has made dinner. However, last night was jambalaya...made with sausage and chicken. Tonight...Pork loin stuffed with a spinach and sausage stuffing.
My daughter watched an "animal product industry" video in health class and decided to get back on the vegan/vegetarian bandwagon with me. Dear husband knows this.
Dear husband continues to make food without any consideration to what the ladies will actually eat. After coming home last night, thanking him for making dinner, and proceeding to make salads for me and my daughter...I was hoping he'd get the hint. Apparently not. **Sigh**
