I don't want to hear another word about the elections!! I don't care if this is a victory for the Republicans or America or if the Democrats think the world is going to come crashing down. It's always the same - a prez from one party gets elected, people get disillusioned and think that electing the opposite party to congress will change the world, and as it turns out they're all politicians that talk out of their butt and nobody's happy anyway. The cycle will go on and very little will change.
I would like for someone to burn all the election signs and I would like to talk about other things for a change. Plzkthx.

Re: My wish for today
I couldn't agree more!
On the plus side for me, we canceled our cable completely awhile back so I don't have to worry about commercials period.
People at work are still talking about what happened yest and I'm just sigh and roll my eyes in disguise. hehe
I suppose I knew better than to check facebook this morning. I usually wake up hating the world on Wednesdays anyway (it goes away, don't worry), then H was asleep on the couch with the tv on and they were talking about the election. Then I checked facebook and that was the last straw - all my friends are friends for a good reason, but I have a handful who are extreme in both directions and I really really really didn't want to hear it!
Most of what we watch is DVR'd and we skip the commercials, thank God. Hopefully I can convince H to keep Fox News off tonight so I don't have to think about it.
(I love him, I really really really do...)
