It's true, they're sneaky!
I do think it's sad that he didn't feel compelled to do it sooner. and do it for himself. But I also think it's beautiful that he felt it was worth it to do it for the kids. I'm really hoping that 20 years from now we'll look back on these suicides and the public response as a turning point, and we'll marvel at how such a short time ago people had such dated thinking.

The Fort Worth city councilman's video made me cry a lot.
Me too. The eyes started welling when the pastor was talking about his kids, and by the time the councilman was done there were full on water works up in here.

Fort Worth has had some major difficulties with prejudice against their gay population. There was a local gay bar that was raided right after opening and people were assaulted which was caught on camera phone. One went to the hospital with a severe head wound. The cop stated that the man had tried to hit on him. It was absurd.
Wow, I lost it from the first time he teared up talking about the one kid's mom finding him and never regained my composure.
Maybe I don't have a heightened sense of smell, but I've never smelled any vagina on my pants. -- TSD
