I made my first meal as a wife yesterday!! I made fiesta chicken and rice bake and it was sooo yummy!!! We also got a vacuum yesterday!! We got a Dyson YAYY!!!!! I was sooo happy. I got home and vacuumed the whole house. It picked up sooo much it was insane!

Fiesta chicken sounds yummy!
I want a Dyson wicked bad. The vaccum cleaner we have now works but just isn't powerful enough for our black cat who sheds EVERYWHERE! It was fine for our old apartment but we have the whole house now and I think it's time for us to get something more heavy duty. Maybe this weekend.....just need to convince DH it is a necessity lol
The Dyson wasn't tooo much money. It was originally $450 on sale for $400 then we got 20% off because it was on our registry from Macy's. Then we had $125 in GC for using so much of our Macy's CC. So we only paid $200 and we another another $128 in Macy's GC that I just got in the mail so I can go and settle that, sooo really we only paid like 70 bucks for it.
Stef - the house hasn't really gone anywhere. The tree guy came today and is taking down two more trees and grinding down the stumps so DH can fill the sidewalk with concrete this weekend. We picked out a countertop, flooring, and paint for the cabinet for the kitchen but we haven't started anything yet. Mainly, I've just been cleaning. It's taking me so long to clean the damn house!
So happy you got the Dyson, glad you're not disappointed. We love ours too!
I just made my first "real" meal as a wife (one that I had never made before, had to follow a recipe and actually tasted good) last night too, so I feel your elation

Awesome about the vaccumm! I want one but we only have carpet in the bedrooms so H not really feeling that idea too much. We bought a Hoover Platinum Stick Vac it runs on a Linx battery and I love it, but we bought it for $275 and now H threw a fit about that. But the Hoover doesn't pick up as much dog hair as I would like it too.
