general hospital info
I am in the process of finding new doctors with my husband and I moving to the UES. I've been googling trying to find info on the hospitals near by. We are near the Lenox Hill Hospital and Mount Sanai. Is one better than the other in general terms? How about pregnancy terms? I'm not pregnant yet, but I tend to think ahead:)

In my experience prengnacy/birth situations at hospitals vary greatly depending on who your OB is. I'd focus on finding an OB who you feel comfortable with and who you mesh with as far as what you want out of your birth.
Most, if not all, hospitals also have tours of the labor/delivery and maternity wards and you have a chance to ask any and all questions you want. I found the tour I went on very informative (in addition to speaking to my Dr.)
