1st Anniversary Gift for Hubby
What's everyone getting their husbands for the Big 1-Year Anniversary?
My husbands birthday was just last week, and I wasted all my good ideas on that! I want to get him something meanful..but something he will like.
Any ideas??
A year.. wow.. seems like yesterday.

I have no clue what I'll do.
I know we're going out to dinner and taht may be all we do this year since we just had the baby - so even though its our 1 yr we'll prob downplay it a bit to save $$$..
but i know, 1 year already?!?! wow!
We decided that we were not going to do anniversary gifts. This year we are going to Sandals Whitehouse to celebrate and then after that we will do a nice dinner for our anniversary.
I got DH a GPS for his birthday (Dec 1) - not sure if that helps or not. Since his bday and our anniversary are sort of close it makes it especially hard to think of gifts so that is why we decided to save money on the anniversary.
He gets me for our 1 year anniversary! He is in the military and has been living in TX since April for training. We get to reunite in late November, so its our first anniversary gift and his birthday gift. His b-day is 11/2 and our one year is 11/3. We have a month off before we have to report to our next base (DENVER!), so we are going to travel around to see family a bit and enjoy being together. You have no idea how hard it is to spend most of your first year of marriage 700 miles apart. I am thankful that November is almost here!
We are also talking about a one year anniversary band, but this economy is horrendous and we dont know if we want to spend that kind of money.
I got him tickets to the opera and dinner at a really nice restaurant, but it's in early December. We will be away at a family wedding immediately preceding our anniversary, but I'll make him a really nice dinner the following weekend.
I'm pretty sure that we've decided not to do gifts for each other. ?We actually have a wedding to go to on our anniversary weekend, so we are pushing back celebrating our one year to Thanksgiving weekend. ?We are going to have dinner at a nice place and stay at a nice hotel on the Ohio River overlooking Cincinnati. ?Then we're going to a Bengals game the next day with some of our bridal party. ?Haha, and because the Bengals suck this year tickets are pretty cheap. ?I just wish I could have a few glasses of win at dinner this year! ?:( ?The things we do for baby!!

Our anniversary is the 3rd (Monday) and we aren't getting gifts for each other. We hardly get to spend time together relaxing, so that's what we're doing! We don't have much money (we just bought a house) so our plan is to pretty much lay in bed together and rest. We are going to play cards and probably cook a simple meal together.
I don't have to work the next day, and he's taking off so we can stay up late and sleep in
I can't believe it's been a year!
