Poll: To vote early or not?
Eh, I thought about making one of those clicky polls, but really, aren't there two answers? Yes or no?
I've never voted early, and to tell you the truth, I don't know if I want to this time either. I kind of like the excitement of voting on Nov. 4 and I've never really had to wait in line on Election Day for more than 10 or 15 minutes (I always try to go during off-peak hours...mid-day after the morning rush, before people get out of work...)
I think I'll just wait...but this being Floriduh and all, I think I should vote early to avoid some kind of Election Day craziness.
How about you guys? Voting early? Absentee? On Nov. 4?
Re: Poll: To vote early or not?
In WA, you can register as a "permanent absentee", so you vote by mail... we do and will.
Literally, everybody I know does this... but there's part of me that would be really interested in walking over to my local polling place on election day to see what's up!
I am the 99%.
We could do early voting, but I don't want to. I am so pumped about going to the polling place to vote on Election Day that it is out of control. It's funny - since I'm so excited, you'd think I'd already have registered to vote at my new address. Have I? Nope.
I voted absentee a few weeks ago. Didn't really have a choice about that.
I think the only time I voted early was when I had a flight on election day. Every other time I've either been legitimately out of the state or else I voted in person on the right day.
Eh, I guess I'm an old woman. If I could vote early, I would, just to avoid the crowds. But I also have two small children, so trekking to the voting booth and waiting in line is a huge deal for me.
I've only voted absentee once, when I was in college and away from home.
