Baby crack machine

What was the one people recommend?

Dagger falls asleep well and when he wakes up at night, he nurses right back to sleep, but he has been waking up more at night recently.

When we were in Florida my mom had one of those super loud mini fans. He slept better there than he has in a while. I thought it was just from being tired from traveling, but now I am wondering if the noise helps him stay asleep or fall back asleep.

Do you think?

Also, I think it is because he is hungry. He is like 20 pounds now and I am still just breastfeeding. We start foods tomorrow. Wish me luck.

  • We have used this:

from the get-go and it is superb.  Zach has one at home and one at daycare.  When he moved into his own room at 6 months, H and I kind of missed it.  The waves are soooooothing.

  • We have the one Angie posted. I was actually going to ask all the other users if they have had any issues with it?

The noise function is great, but the projector seems to go in and out on us. We really only need the noise, but Ethan did like to watch it spin.

  • I am worried the projection thing would be way distracting for the Dagmeister. I have heard of the sleep sheep.
  • sOUNDsPA is the greatest thing to happen to parenthood ever, well after the 5 S's or however many there are.

It plugs in, unlike sleep sheep so no battery worries, the projector has an off/off switch.

  • We have a Sleep Sheep and it's nice, but the sound stops after 45 min. So it probably wouldn't help Dagger's night waking.

The hair grows in thick where the horn used to be.
  • We just run a fan in the summer and a humidifier in the winter.

We use this one too and its great.

Winged, you turn the projection on and off separately from the noise.

  • oh, thanks for letting me know the sleep sheep turns off. That won't work for us.

And if I can turn the sound spa off that works.

Our humidifier is silent, which is a shame.

  • we still use ours.  I like it a lot b/c it helps to drown out any other noise in the house while she's sleeping too.  The projector is junk but you can turn it off.  Our projector pooped out the first month, but then, Liza knocked the whole thing on the floor the other day and it started working again.  Go figure.

    LOL!!

We have 2 Homedics sound spa thingies for the kids, the basic ones not with the projectors. They both sleep with theirs on all night.

  • I'm going to try dropping ours tonight to see if it fixes the projector. All it took to break it was carrying it to a different room.

The iphone doesn't take capture detail. There are plenty of lines that need erasing.

But thank you! I do love this pic.

  • our projector broke in the first 2 months too. The light comes on, but it doesn't spin anymore. Our speaker is also really blown, I have to fiddle with it everytime it I turn it on. But I would buy stock in Hommedic, they're worth their weight in gold.  We bought another one for #2.
