I'm bored today, so I figured a survey is a great way to entertain myself....so here are some q's about you and you're DH. Enjoy.

Here are my answers...because I can't post and not answer!
1. We went to dinner at the Olive Garden. I was on a bowling league at the campus student center with some friends my senior year (when we met.) I had bowling that night, so after dinner, he dropped me off at home. (I later found out that when he got home, his roommates (who had NO idea apparently that I was on a bowling league) suggested going to the student center to bowl that night. He told them this was out of the question, because he knew where I was and was afraid it would make him look like a creeper.)
2. DH works in Agriculture. He currently works for Monsanto. (Cookies to anyone who actually knows what that is!) He has an interview at the end of the month with Syngenta. (Competition) I am a teacher, but IL sucks and my job was cut last Spring. Because I'm in grad school (and get paid more because of it) I didn't find a full time teaching job this year. I currently work on a research project for the University of Illinois.
3. I call DH squirrel. He once got bit by a squirrel (which is a story in and of itself). He calls me monkey, because I often pick things up with my feet....I'm a wierdo.
4. DH does a couple things that are annoying. One is this whistle thing he does. It's like a whistle you would do to call a dog, and it is annoying as s*it. He also has a habit of flossing his teeth in odd places (like in bed, or while in his recliner in the living room.) This wouldn't be so bad, but he leaves the floss on the nigh stand or next to the chair...and I'm usually the one who ends up throwing it away.
5. If DH gets the new job, we will be moving to WI! If this happens, we will be getting a puppy. (Our apt. now doesn't allow pets, but if we move, we are finding one that does!) We are also looking forward to Christmas/New Year's, because he gets 2 weeks off over the holidays.
6. We both would love to go to Australia/New Zealand. I would also LOVE to go to Europe, specifically Rome. I'm a history teacher, and Europe has so much history and culture.
Re: You and DH survey.
1. What was your first date? We went to see Walk the Line in the Movie theater on Thanksgiving night. So he had to meet my ENTIRE family the night of our first date. He totally just fit right in.
2. What do you and your DH do for a living? He is a Mechanic at the Tire Store his family own, and I am a Buyer at a Global Engineering and Automation Corporation
3. Do you have nicknames/pet names for one another? Are there stories behind the names? He calls me cutie and baby and I call him hunny most of the time. No stories though
4. Does your DH have any habits that annoy the crap out of you? YES! They way he drinks soda in bed - You would think that he hasn't had anything to drink for a week by the way he gulps it down. My second habit that I hate is that when we are going to bed he jumps in right before me and sticks his arm under my pillow, then when I lay down it is just uncomfortable.
5. What are you looking forward to as a couple? (Specific day, trip, holiday, etc.?) We are looking forward to the day I become pregnant. This is the 2nd month we have been trying and we just can't wait. I already have a little gift for him to tell him. I knew I wouldn't be able to wait the day I find out.
6. If money weren't an issue, where would you're dream vacation be? Your husbands? For both of us it would be a month in Italy. He is Italian and I just love Italy. I would love to be able to go and see everything that we want to see. I know he would love to see a Formula One race over there too.

1. What was your first date? My work Christmas Party. We had been hanging out and running into each other here and there for months, but the first official planned date was for my work Christmas party.
2. What do you and your DH do for a living? I work at a bank as a teller supervisor, and he works in logistics as a cross dock manager
3. Do you have nicknames/pet names for one another? Are there stories behind the names? We just call each other babe, honey, and stuff like that.
4. Does your DH have any habits that annoy the crap out of you? When he takes clothes out of the closet, he just rips them off the hanger and leaves the empty hanger hanging there.....It drives me crazy!
5. What are you looking forward to as a couple? (Specific day, trip, holiday, etc.?) We are currently TTC, so we are looking forward to out first BFP and raising a family.
6. If money weren't an issue, where would you're dream vacation be? Your husbands? I would love to go to Italy or Hawaii. He would honestly be content going anywhere. I don't think he has one specific place he has been dying to go.

~Mine would be Bora Bora, Africa, and New Zealand.

1. What was your first date? I honestly have no idea. We were 16 when we met and we didn't date. We watched movies at each other's houses, or drove around in my El Camino (he didn't have a license) so I have no idea....we probably went to a movie in theaters but no clue which.
2. What do you and your DH do for a living? H is a Marine but works retail in the meantime since he's reserves. I'm an aspiring sports journalist, also working retail for now.
3. Do you have nicknames/pet names for one another? Are there stories behind the names? Ummmm I call him a twitchy little ferret, so he started calling me a badger. We call each other schnookums a lot. But we say it in a more funny way, not the way that makes a sane person want to puke.....he calls me his angel sometimes. Or his angle because he wrote me a card once while he was in boot and was really tried and spelled angel like angle. It was really funny and cute.
4. Does your DH have any habits that annoy the crap out of you? His need to impress people. He doesn't realize how fun he is to be around, so he tries to impress whoever is around but either being a loud obnoxious drunk, smoking a cigar to fit in, etc. He doesn't do this all the time but each time it does.
5. What are you looking forward to as a couple? (Specific day, trip, holiday, etc.?) Everything. Just having my best friend by my side and to go through all these crazy shenanigans with.
6. If money weren't an issue, where would you're dream vacation be? Your husbands? A European vacation. Like France, Italy, Spain, Greece, England, etc. I think H would be down for that as well. I've been to Europe twice (he's been there once but for military training so that doesn't count.

Well, we went to Carrabbas for dinner, but we had been hanging out for awhile before that. I guess maybe you could say a Blessid Union of Souls concert on campus. Or sledding on lunch trays at like midnight in the biological reserve and not getting caught.
2. What do you and your DH do for a living?
I am a social studies teacher (student teacher right now b/c I'm getting my masters) at a local high school. DH works for Chase, although he's going to Dental School next year and finishing up some classes starting this January.
3. Do you have nicknames/pet names for one another? Are there stories behind the names? I call DH "meow mix"...I really have no idea why. I think I heard the song once and it got stuck in my head and I used it as his name and it just stuck. He calls me Jen Jen...that's left over from my old neighbor when her daughter was a toddler and I babysat.
4. Does your DH have any habits that annoy the crap out of you?
This may sound weird, but he chews really loud sometimes. But the main habit is that he rarely wipes the counters off after making a meal.
5. What are you looking forward to as a couple? (Specific day, trip, holiday, etc.?) Not really...I guess Christmas because I always loved that holiday. We look forward to things waaay further in the future, like not being poor graduate students and being able to buy a house.
6. If money weren't an issue, where would you're dream vacation be? Your husbands?
I think my dream vacation would be somewhere on the beach now...like St. Lucia or Bermuda. I'd also love to go to Africa to experience some new cultures and go on a safari. I think DH would like to go to Ireland where his family is from, and probably Italy again. I'd also love to go back to Great Britain and France, but I've been there once already so it gets pushed further down the list.

We met at a fraternity party in college, so we didn't really "date" per se! I think a day or two after we met, we went to dinner together at the dining hall...how romantic!
2. What do you and your DH do for a living?
I am in grad school getting a PhD in math. DH works for a NASA contractor doing test engineering. He has a way cooler job.

Not really. I think we use the standard terms of endearment.

So many! Haha. His idea of cleanliness and mine are very different.

We don't have much lined up right now, but I'm planning a weekend trip for his birthday in early December. We're doing Thanksgiving with his parents and going to a friend's wedding soon.

We have so many places we want to go! Internationally, we want to do Brazil and Europe. I'd LOVE to go to Bora Bora. DH would love New Zealand or to go back to Australia (he spent a semester there in college), and we'd both go back to Hawaii in a heartbeat.1. What was your first date? 2. What do you and your DH do for a living? DH works with middle school kids who have behavioral and emotional problems. I work for an insurance company
3. Do you have nicknames/pet names for one another? Are there stories behind the names? The main ones are pretty standard...babe and honey. We also call each other butthead, buttface (or face for short), snugglebutt...yup, we're weird!
4. Does your DH have any habits that annoy the crap out of you? Ugh. He doesn't brush he teeth before bed which is just GROSS! I've tried many many times to get him to make this a part of his bedtime routine (which basically just consists of peeing and that's it!)

1. What was your first date? We didn't really have a first date...we met at a bar in one of the local bars-through a friend. That friend we also picked to be our bestman!!
2. What do you and your DH do for a living? I am a receptionist. He is a machinist. We are both co-owners of our town carwash too!

6. If money weren't an issue, where would you're dream vacation be? Your husbands? Money really isn't an issue with us...it's just finding the time to go somewhere. We would both like to go to New Zealand and Alaska.

1. What was your first date? - I'm always confused about what makes an official 'date' but we first met through my sister and brother-in-law, who used to be DH's boss. DH came over to their house and we all went together to Olive Garden. Then we went back to the house and played cranium. However, the first thing that we did just the two of us was eating out at I think TGI Fridays and then going ice skating.
2. What do you and your DH do for a living? - DH does stuff with computers. Don't ask me to go into further details cause I would probably just confuse everyone as well as myself! I work in clerical for the state.

4. Does your DH have any habits that annoy the crap out of you? - He cracks his knuckles all the time! That drives me nuts.

1. What was your first date? We were in a Psych class together in college and he asked me to meet him to "study"
2. What do you and your DH do for a living? Right now, he is a correctional officer for the state of Illinois but he is going to school to be a PTA. I am a Graphic Designer, but lately Web Designer instead. I do a lot at our office because there are only 4 full time staff members but we serve sooo many companies.
3. Do you have nicknames/pet names for one another? Are there stories behind the names? I usually call him babe and he calls me honeybear. On silly days, I call him my hunky-munkey and re replies with my junk-in-the-trunky. He likes monkeys so I called him that and he needed to one up me I guess,

Umm- I am sort of the absent minded professor type/visual learner/etc and If something is put away in a drawer or a closet, I need it to be orderly so I can easily see it and find it. His method is to just shove stuff in drawers/cubbards/closets/etc.

YES (im sure i do too). He HAS to have control over the remote when we're watching TV and he ALWAYS flips the channel on the commercial to something else....but he never flips back in time so if im watching something, i usually miss half of it. it pisses me off.
He also takes off his dirty clothes and throws them all over the place even though we have more than one hamper to put them in...ugh the places i find dirty nasty socks....and his job makes him really dirty and smelly so it makes the hidden laundry worse.

Paying off our mortgage and other bills? lol. Nothing other than that i guess....we're pretty happy with where we are.

Honestly, i have no idea. I know he wants to go back to visit his family in Poland and i'd love to go out west (deserts, salt lake city, mountains, etc) again but im not hooked on that location. id just like to have a vacation from work, to be honest LOL

1. What was your first date? Our first real date was also at Olive Garden...back in college and it was a real stretch ($ wise) for him at the time haha. I remember it being pretty awkward and not thinking that I'd go out with him again, I guess I was wrong!
2. What do you and your DH do for a living? I am a special education teacher for grades 3-5, DH is a pharmacist
3. Do you have nicknames/pet names for one another? Are there stories behind the names? I call him Jussen (his name is Justin) and it started when I had my wisdom teeth out and that's how I pronounced it, it cracked everyone up so much that it just stuck. He usually just calls me Dear.
4. Does your DH have any habits that annoy the crap out of you? Yes. He always forgets to replace to toilet paper roll and I'm usually the next one to go to the bathroom!
