My students (funny!)
At parent conferences the other night, I left paper and markers on a table for the kids to color/draw while I met with their parents. One little girl drew an adorable picture for me:

Notice the detailed roots she had to include.
Then this afternoon, a different boy was drawing a picture of his mom. He said "my mom has hair just like you do. Brown on the top and yellow on the bottom".
I guess my kiddos are trying to tell me that I need to get my hair colored again! 5 year olds tell you like it is! I love it.

Haha, that is hysterical! I love the things kids do and say.
Last spring, when I got highlights, one of my 2nd graders noticed. He said, "Did you get the highlights? My mom gets the highlights too so people don't see her grey hair!"

Kids are so funny! That's great!!!
When my oldest was in daycare, I went to pick him up one day. He says to his teacher, "This is my mom. She has diarrhea."
But I didn't!!! But it was one of those things that as I'm saying "NO...I don't!" it just sounds like I'm totally lying!
