I woke up on Wednesday having abdominal pain and nausea. To make a long story short, I thought it was a stomach virus until it got so bad that I couldn't walk. Called my DH and he came home and took me to the hospital. I was admitted and had an emergency appendectomy. Who knew that little, worthless organ could cause so much pain??? Morphine is my friend! And Todd is absolutely the BEST!
On my way to recovery...I'm praying I get to go home today and my personal RN can take care of me!!
xxoo
So Happily Married to the Love of my Life!

Re: In the hospital...ughhh
Those organs are evil when not working properly! I hope you feel better soon.
I such severe pain in my stomach last night (as in it hurt to lift/move my legs) that I debated going to the hospital but I didn't want to spend the $40 emergency room fee to have some doctor tell me that I was just having severe period cramps.
And yay for H's who take care of you! Mine just hugged me last night and said "don't die. I need someone to cook dinner."

Thank you, everyone. You ladies are the BEST! And I am very lucky to have such a caring H. Did I mention he is an RN and paramedic? He knew what to check to see if it was serious and I guess I had all of the classic symptoms!!!! Then he was too cute, he told me he learned so much sitting there and watching how I got treated. Since we went to the hospital where he works, he (we) got special treatment...he got to sit in on the catscan and look at the results and see all of my workups. It couldn't have been easy for him but he made the best out of it that he could.
I'm feeling a little better each hour...thank you all for your sweet, caring thoughts and prayers. xxoo Muahhhhhhh
