I just got my first full paycheck from my new, big girl job and I'm going to pay rent then spend a good portion of it at TJ Maxx on shoes.

    I'm secretly hoping I get a job quickly so I won't be able to go on this cruise the IL's are trying to plan. They are paying for the whole thing, and are really genuinely nice and good people, I know I have no excuse on not wanting to go. I just have anxiety about spending time with them (as I would about traveling with anyone I don't know really really well).

    It's comical the amount of anxiety I have about thanksgiving.  It'll be my first time staying at my MIL's house....

    The nice thing about a cruise is, I don't think you need to feel obligated to spend every waking moment with them. It's easy to plan to "meet up at dinner" or "meet up at the excursion". I find it easy to get away, but see people enough that you don't feel guilty about not spending every minute with them.

    While I do my absolute best to carry out the vision my clients have for their big day, I cringe every time a bride tells me she is having an outdoor wedding. It doesn't matter how well prepared I am - there is ALWAYS weather stress the week of the wedding and I hate it. Its a stress that is so completely avoidable.

    As much as I enjoy having new things, I hate it that I have to spend money on new clothes because everything is too big. Yeah, yeah I know, what a terrible problem, but still. It is very draining on the bank account and I buy cheap!

    Sixth Anniversary
    We'll be CC debt free by next Summer (if all goes according to plan) and after seeing the Disney Dream on GMA this morning, I have already booked a cruise (in my head) as well as tacking on a WDW trip afterward for next Fall. Because we can afford it. Stick out tongue

    it's only my second day not working and i've already had two potential job offers. i should be counting my blessings b/c so many people are trying desperately to find jobs. but, i feel stressed b/c i was kind of looking forward to bumming it for a little while. (which i think is the route i'm going to take at least for a month or so)

    I got a promotion on Monday and, although I am excited about the new challenge, I kind of miss what I was doing before. Hopefully, that will change once I learn all of the ins and outs of this new position.
