December 2007 Weddings
Dear Community,

Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

safety first!

i bought (ok my work bought me) safety shoes today and they make me REALLY excited.

 SO CUTE right?? they have a steel toe for when i have to be "out in the field", in areas where safety shoes are necessary.

  • I love those!  Are they converse brand?
  • So much cuter than the "safety shoes" I had to wear as a waitress!!  (Ours mainly just had non-slip soles...I don't remember steel toes, but now that I think about it, the toes were pretty hard.....but dang, those were ugly shoes that I had to wear every day!)

    yep!! :)

     

    we have a lot of different departments which require safety shoes/steel toes - electrical, wastewater, port operations, transportation.... i visit those departments occasionally and my normal "fancy office apparel" doesnt cut it in those more hands-on areas! i still want to look cute though lol.
