I really want to throat punch this ebay buyer (long)

I've gotten to that point in my pregnancy where I am a hormonal b!tch on the war path. It is taking every once of strength I have to not tell this lady where to shove it.

Basically, this lady bids on something and wins, after 2 days I send her an invoice, after hearing nothing, I filed a nonpayment dispute on day 4. That's just how I do things. Then the messages from this lady start...

Crazy Lady: Why the dispute?? I emailed and let you know what was going on with payment and that it would be paid this week....
I assured you payment would be made as i NEED this item for my daughter

Me: I never got a message from you, I sent an invoice the other day and never got a response back, that is why I opened the dispute

Crazy Lady: that is weird because i just looked in my sent box and it is there.......

Well this item will be paid for this week and my feedback will reflect the unnesessary dispute filed against me.

all the sellers i have delt with EMAIL the buyer before they file a dispute as Ebay says to COMMUNICATE before opening cases.

Good day

Me: I checked the trash folder in my ebay inbox. No message from you there either. As far as I can tell, you never sent a message in the first place.

As far as the unpaid item dispute goes, I was well within my rights as a seller to open an unpaid item dispute, and I most certainly don't find it unnecessary, you did not pay for your item within 4 days of the auction ending. And eBay also says I am under NO OBLIGATION to make special arrangements.

::crazy lady makes payment::

Crazy Lady: Payment has been made for this item, please let me know when it is shipped out tomorrow.

THANKS

Me: Thank you for the payment, the item will be shipped next week. You will receive notification through paypal when it has shipped.

Crazy Lady: Early next week i hope as it is unacceptable to wait on shipping once payment has been recieved.

good day

...................

I REALLY want to tell this lady where to shove it, I haven't returned her message today because I don't know how to not tell her where to shove it. DH keeps telling me to be the bigger person and not hold on to the package for the full 5 business days I have to send it, but it's SO hard. I most certainly am NOT going to the post office today or Monday. I'm just waiting for her to leave me negative feedback before I say what I really want to say to her.

  • What a nutjob!!     I really don't like the newer rules on eBay though.  It really does give the buyer all of the power and it SUCKS.    I'd probably ship it Tuesday or so anyhow though.

I hate that ebay changed things so that you can only leave the buyer positive feedback, but the buyer can leave the seller positive or negative feedback. It's sucks because it allows them to be a complete PITA and if you want to say anything negative about them you have to leave a negative comment as positive feedback and hope people read it.

  • I hate only being able to leave positive or neutral about buyers. Some buyers are such jerks.

When I buy I always pay right when I buy it.

  • I hate the new ebay rules and have used it a lot less.  As for your situatition, I would cancel the purchase and refund her money! (if you can) She was a total B!tch and didn't follow the rules of the listing.  If you decide to still sell her to her, then I would send per your listing and I'm guessing that you do not say it will be shipped same day!
  • Wow Im sorry you had to deal with that nonsense. I have just recently started selling on Ebay to try and make some extra cash since Im not working right now. Luckily I havent run into anyone like that. But if I were to it would definitely be hard for me to keep my mouth shut.
