Re: Happy Friday!

  • It's my day off and I woke up at 5:30 am with a Charlie horse in my leg. Ouch! After that I was wide awake, so I've been cleaning the house. I'm getting some people into Epcot this morning and then meeting my Mom and her friends at the outlet. They're on their way to a weekend conference. My Dad is coming to my house tonight for the weekend. We're going to go to the Food and Wine festival, dinner, shopping, etc.

It's in the 40's/50's here this morning.... yikes! I'm not ready for the cold yet!

  • I'm at work and don't want to be!

We have plans with really good friends this w/e and we're not prepared to tell them about us yet bc we haven't even told our parents...and they want to share a bottle of 1989 Heitz Cab w/ us...I don't know what to say to them...so I asked if there was any event/thing we could go to together...Hmmmmmph.

I *may* go to the gym after work. I've been 3 x this week so far and am definitely going tomorrow/Saturday, so I guess it depends how tired I am when I leave this place.

Tomorrow, gym/errands.. maybe out w/ friends.

Sunday- gym/errands...football? I like quiet weekends!

  • I am going on a little road trip with Will tomorrow.  DH is doing an extreme race - it is a 200 mile relay.  We are driving to meet up with him at his last leg and then spending the night. We are going to hang out with one of my best friends that I haven't seen in over a year.  I am excited, but a little nervous about traveling with Will.

  • How long is the drive dox? I've driven up to four hours with just JJ, and he was just fine. I hope Will sleeps the whole way!

Today: Work until 5. It's really, really slow - and will probably be even slower today, since it's the Friday before a home game - so I'm just gonna hang out, catch up on stuff and maybe watch SATC 2 on Amazon on Demand. Tonight will be hangout time with the little man.

Tomorrow: Our last home game that we're going to [and potentially my last football game while living in Stillwater, sad] - kickoff is at 11:30am. Whoever decided that needs to be punched in the knee. My mom and sister are coming up for the game, then we'll head to OKC for shopping and family time.

Sunday: Relaxing. Cleaning, meal planning and hanging out with JJ. If it's nice, we'll go for a walk around the park.

  • So glad its Friday...nothing much goin on for us.  I do want to go to JcPenny later when I get home.  I saw these brown boots online and want to see what they look like in person and on my wide a** foot!

Tomorrow and Sunday, Wheel of Fortune is gonna be here and H wants to audition for it.  He really is good at the game so it'd be awesome if he actually had a shot at it!  So we will be heading to the city tomorrow and if he doesn't get picked, we will be going again on Sunday.  Other than that, no other plans really.

good luck to your H! i love wheel of fortune :)

  • Tomorrow we are having our photo sharing party so most of this weekend will be prep for that.  Cleaning the house, etc...

Sunday is church and then we are going out for lunch to an older couples after church which is cool...

  • Well, I just did my last workout of the week, and it was a really good run, so that's making me happy.  I made a deal with myself on Monday that if I worked out Mon-Fri, I could take the weekend off.

I'm working a show tonight (Craig Ferguson!).  Should be an easy night.

I'm off tomorrow.  I might try to get DH to go grocery shopping with me.  Don't have real plans yet.

Working Sunday during the day.  That show is shaping up to be kind of a trainwreck, but I don't want to go into the details.

  • Today I bitchedandmoaned about work, but got done early so I think I'll do a little laundry and have a workout. Tonight is homemade Chinese food and movie night.

Tomorrow I'm going to the barn for some chores. We may go out tomorrow night to see BIL's band play but they're also playing on the 3rd weekend so it all depends on how I feel.

    Sunday: cleaning and football!

  • Tonight:  Work until 5:30 (probably earlier depending on when everyone else leaves), once home I'll spend what little time is left before Amelia's bedtime with her, after that I'll just veg in front of the TV with DH

Tomorrow:  DH and I are going over the finances which I have completely screwed up in the eight months since Amelia was born.  It's bad, very bad.  Late in the afternoon MIL, SIL and 7-year-old niece are coming to see Amelia.  Once they leave we don't have any plans.

Sunday:  I am going to the NASCAR with my dad.  (It's kinda turned into our thing.)  Amelia is spending the day with my mom so DH can study.  It will be looooong day.

  • Today I am grumpy and tired. We went to get May's pictures taken with the cousins at the Target where SIL lives, which is an hour away. She was screaming the whole time (she was hungry and since Target sessions are only 10 minutes long they said I didn't have time to feed her). These were supposed to be her 1 month pictures too so I rescheduled hers for later in the afternoon when I knew she'd be in a better mood. I'm so glad I did that because we got more shots of her and some of the two of us.

DH gets to come in from the field soon and I am sooooo glad to have him for most of the evening. Tonight I need to clean the house b/c family is stopping by to see it tomorrow.

Tomorrow is our baby shower on DH's side. My family is coming up for it and we're going to town afterward for supper.

Sunday we're going to the early church service (something about pretending it's not daylight savings time and getting up at normal time so we can make it to that service...I don't ask. He's crazy.) and then coming home for football and very likely a nap. My God I can't wait for that nap.

  • Well, I'm late and you guys are already off doing all your cool weekend things, but here goes:

Today I did some work, went to lunch with a good friend I haven't seen in a while (she took the day off from work), and then had a job interview (fingers crossed).  Then I went to the cleaners to get our stuff (we needed E's suit for tomorrow) & I got myself a Carvel cone to celebrate my good mood.

Tonight nothing much is going on.  I'm emptying litterboxes & boxing up orders to ship tomorrow, while E is still out at an appointment for one of his side-job clients.

Saturday we go to synagogue at 9 a.m. for my friend's daughter's bat mitzvah.  In fact, that just reminded me I need to wrap her gift (a pretty sterling & gemstone pendant) and sign her card.  The party is 12-4:30.

I was also invited to another friend's baby shower tomorrow, but it's in Queens and starts at 4 p.m., which would be a nightmare with the bat mitzvah, so I'm just shipping them a gift.

Saturday night we go to Blaze, a collection of over 4,000 carved & lit pumpkins!

Sunday I'm supposed to go hiking with my friend/ex-roommate, but he might have to work so it might be postponed to the weekend after.

  • scentsy parties both days... trying to find time for cleaning, grocery shopping, laundry, packing. and relaxing!
