Filing papers?
How do you keep important paper work filed? I am about to buy a filing cabinet at Staples, but they are so ugly! Any ideas? TIA

In addition to getting your finances in order, you should keep passports, birth certificates, social security cards (NEVER keep these in your wallet!) and car titles in a safety deposit box.

My mom bought me a filing cabinet from Target that had a modern look to it. The only thing is it has 2 drawers and a small one and now I'm needing another one. I just set up files for each bill or important info (like taxes, bank, and etc). I just drop it in the file when I'm done with it. This is what works for me. We are all different so I would set it up depending on what is the easiest for you.
