Yet another update on Ozzie
Not good news...his white blood cell count was super high - most likely lukemia and issues with his liver. Brian and I talked at work, so we didn't go into details. For sure we won't seek treatment. Ozzie has had enough. She said that as long has he is eating something and we think he is doig "ok", we can hold off for bit. But I think he has had enough. He has a hard time getting up and down. I think he gets frustrated because he can't move spots easily.
I thought I was preparred for this, but I don't think you really truly ever can be.
THANK YOU so much for all of your support during this. It truly means a lot.
Re: Yet another update on Ozzie
Seriously, tears.
You're right, it's not possible to be 100% ready. I'm so sorry.
x's 2 on the tears.
So sorry MB.
I'm sorry.

Oh no. I'm so sorry.
I'm glad that you guys have some concrete news. Hugs for the 4 people in your house, and a big extra hug for your big pal.
Let me know if I can be helpful at all in the future, okay?
I'm so sorry MB. :-( I'm thinking of you and your family. Never forget that you gave Ozzie 12 amazing years of life, and I bet he's very thankful for that.
PS - Our dogs will probably be at the in-laws this weekend. Toby gives really good hugs, so feel free to stop by and see him.
