I hate being alone at night. HATE HATE HATE. Im the wimpiest almost 26 year old Mom ever. The kids are thankfully sleeping soundly & I just took a double dose of melatonin hoping to knock myself out so I can actually sleep.

Hunting trips make me angry.

I have been alone the past 2 nights as H has worked 3rd shift. He is currently gone now as he is on call and got called in a few hours ago. I am taking a shower and going to bed.

When Nick is away I have to have the radio playing at night. I can't deal with the dead silence. So, I can totally relate.

yup, i hear ya... H is going to a bachelor party in vermont next weekend and will be gone 2 nights. i hate being alone just me and the cats so i can only imagine how you feel with the kids. i have to sleep with the tv on. i'm not used to being alone at night and i don't like it. i hope the melatonin works well and you get some good sleep!

I know how you feel. My husband was gone 2 days last week for business with his dad and gone mon thru tuesday. Left wed and is finally coming home tonite. I feel like it has been 2 weeks since I have seen him. I hate staying alone too. Ussually I dont sleep good except for one night when I am beyond exausted.

It's that time of year, isn't it? I hate it when H is gone over night, too. I have to sleep with the TV on. Hope you were able to sleep last night!

I didnt sleep. I dozed a few times but I didnt get more than an hour total sleep all night. I wish I could talk some sense into myself!

Melatonin didnt work last night, so tonight Ill be drinking rum instead.

I know the feeling of being a "hunting widow" well. I enjoy the idea of having free time but usually when H leaves I miss the noise he makes instantly.

I hate being alone too!! Even if its just until later in the night after I've gone to bed. I hate trying to go to sleep and hearing every little noise the cats or house or neighbors make!
