Do you believe in taking big trips for big anniversaries (5 years, 10 years)? Where will you go? Yes, I don't know about our 5 year, but a long time ago mh said we could go to Fiji for our 10 yr and I'm holding his feet to the fire on that one.
What is on your travel bucket list? So many! All 50 states including a drive up PCH, Vancouver, Italy (all of it), Ireland (Dublin/South/West), France (Paris), Germany, Spain, Greece (the islands, not Athens really), Australia/New Zeeland. MH would add Brazil to this list (and take off most of the European countries). I'm probably forgetting a ton.

I've taken several "big" trips. My first one was to London when I turned 28. I decided I'd never been and always wanted to do, and just planned a trip by myself. I had a friend who was inspired and decided to come with me for the week, and it was great.
Of course, a year later, I was working for a company that acquired a company in Cambridge UK, and I ended up going back to England 5 more times!
Hawaii, as you know, I've been to 5 times. Each time is awesome.
About 5 years ago, I decided I wanted to go to Japan. I did that one by myself. I have a friend from college who lived in Tokyo and I spent a few days with him, but for the most part, it was just me, traveling for a week, knowing no Japanese.
I haven't done too much in the tropics or the like. 2 years ago, we went to a wedding in Costa Rica. This year, Xmas - New Years, we'll do Cancun. It's our first All Inclusive trip.
Our honeymoon wasn't overly glamorous -- a few days in SF and a few more in Wine Country.
Domestically, I've been to 40 states.
So, I feel like I've done a good bit of traveling, and, I hope to do much more.
Bucket List:
Italy, France, Belgium, Egypt, China, go on safari (Not picky where in Africa I do this), the last 10 states I haven't been to...
As for "big trips" for our anniversary, quite frankly, since we won't have children, travel is one of the large expenditures I expect we'll make regularly. We won't 5 years in between big trips, and we won't wait for an "event" to take one.
