I got a new bottle of OPI nail polish in Bogota Blackberry. I really love the color.

I really don't love trying to put it on my own nails. I *should* have cleaned up my cuticles more and I need some of those stick thingies to help the edges look better because it looks like a 10 year old did my nails. Le sigh.
No point to this post other than to add something to the board. If anyone has nail painting tips those would be appreciated too.
Re: Nail Polish
Paint your thumbs last, as in after the other 8 fingers, then go back and do the thumbs. That way you can get a better grip on the brush without worrying about smudging.
I use a q-tip afterward to clean up the mess.
Sometimes putting your hand on the edge of a table helps steady you.
Those are all my tips.
Pretty color. I might check that out for the winter!

I always have this problem -- then I end up picking at any little imperfection until the polish is all chipped and looks like crap and I have to take it all back off anyway. This is why my nails are never painted unless I got a manicure. I can't even manage to leave the clear polish alone.
