No heat.

We arent turning on the heat at all for the entire month of November.  I hope we can make it and it doesnt get too cold!  It's in the low 40s for this weekend.

My parents gave me tons of hot chocolate mix, and stocked us up on wood today :)  Anyone else not wanting to turn the heat on yet? (I know a lot of you have to bc of your babies- you must keep them snug and warm!).

Re: No heat.

  • We haven't. We have a space heater in Emmys room.

  • we're not turning the heat on either. well, ever in guam ;)

i dont like being cold in the house when it's cold outside - it's like there's no relief! - but i love space heaters!!  i also miss (a little bit) being chilly and having fall/winter... :-/

  • We turned our on and we found out we have a bad thermostat, as it has been running and nit turning off when it gets to the temp it is set at. I don't Luke being cold, but I tell g that we just need to buy those heaters that rotate. He doesn't think they will heat the whole place, but we can get 2. I would think those would save money from not having to turn the heat on. In the winter we usually have our heat on about 67 or 68, sometimes lower if we can stand it.

LOL!  I feel the same way about the summer- winter I can always bundle up, but in the sumer there's only so much you can take off ;)

  • We still haven't had to turn ours on. It was 80 yesterday and today it's cold and rainy - very weird weather.
  • We weren't planning on turning ours on for awhile, but we did on Saturday. We've had lows in the upper 20s/low 30s. Brrrrrr

  • We turned ours on last week. It was in the 20's overnight and freezing in our house. I wish I could have held off longer but it was way too cold.
  • We turned ours on a couple weeks ago.  When it was only 58 inside the house, I had enough.
