Rubbermaid Reveal or Libman Freedom spray mop?

We have tile floors that have been sealed, so I can't use any floor cleaners on my floor, which means my Swiffer is out of the questions.  I only mop with hot water and dish soap now, so I was excited to see these two products come out.  I just don't know which one is better.  Which one do you have or like?  Which would you recommend?

  • On our tile floors, I use vinegar and warm water. Soap would leave a residue. I wash on my hands and knees with a rag, it does the best job for me.

  • We just go the Rubbermaid Reveal and I think it is wonderful. The spray is nice and even and just the right amount. And not only is the cloth washable but it also does a great job picking up dirt and doesn't seem to have a problem absorbing even after I've done all the rooms in the downstairs of my home.
  • I have the Rubbermaid ($25 for starter and $5 for pads) and I like it.  O'Cedar also makes the Promist ($20 with a $5 mail-in-rebate).  I can't compare the Rubbermaid to anything b/c it's the only one I've used, but it's so much better than a swiffer that dries out after a few swipes.

I got my Rubbermaid at Lowes a couple weeks ago for $15 (with just the one pad it came with). I like it a lot. I read a comparison that said it had the widest head of the 3 (rubbermade, ocedar, libman) so I went with it because I have a lot of hard floors and not a lot of nooks and crannies to get into.

  • I just bought the Reveal, don't know anything about the Libman mop.  I really like the Reveal, is so much easier than the sponge mop and bucket method and the results are the same, if not better, I'm not "pushing" the dirty water around the floor.
  • I have the Libman and I have nothing but good things to say about it!  I just use a little bit of white vinegar and hot water and it works wonders on my kitchen floor.  I don't know how it compares to the Rubbermaid though because I've never used it.
