Dear Community,
Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Field work is DONE! That means DH doesn't have to work the weekends and will be home by supper time every night.
And next Thursday he's getting a blade installed on his truck (to move snow) and the shop is in Des Moines so May and I are going with in my car so we can spend the day (it's a 6 hr appt.) together.
Not to mention that we were blessed with an amazing harvest. Life is good!

The Sand in My Snow Boots
DH and I watched some documentary about farming, and I remember there was a big issue with cleaning soy beans seeds - to use them for the next crop maybe? There was a guy that had a cleaner and I think cleaned his own seeds, but apparently this is illegal by Monsanto standards? And then he lost all of his business because no one would be from the "seed cleaner". It made me really angry and upset for the poor guy, he was in his 60's I think.
