Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Early xmas present
So my DH went out and bought me my early xmas present. It is a new MacBook Pro. My old laptop had been dying on me for some time. I bought it in grad school to do my dissertation so it served me well, but it was time to move on. I decided to switch to a Mac and I am hoping that I made the right move. So far I am loving it, but it is quite an adjustment. He decided to give it to me early b/c it came with a 1 year warranty and help desk package and wanted me to get full use out of it.
Now I need to think of something to get him. He set the bar pretty high!

Aw, that was nice of him! How cool are Macs? I've never personally owned one, but I used them during art school for projects.
DH and I are getting each other anything for Xmas. No money so we've decided to take a nice trip somewhere for an evening, like dinner and a show.
