As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Update on Step Dad
My StepDad was moved into the nicu for about 24 hours. There was a burst blood vessel in the back base of his brain. He has hypertension which caused this. The dizziness and throwing up was the cause of the blood not clotting.
He was given platelets and as of today is in a regular room. The swelling has gone down and he the platelets are doing their job to keep the blood clotting now. He has had a lot of tests and a lung doctor wantsto see him. I hope everything is OK there!!!!
I plan to visit him today. They are going to give him PT b/c he is having trouble standing and is still wobbly and dizzy at times.
His sister is a nurse and she flew Thursday night in for the week to help him. I am hoping his other sister ( also in the health care field) will come in next to assist with things.
