One of DH's buddies on FB posted a status about being grossed out that the woman in front of him at a football game was breastfeeding her baby. He admitted that he didn't see anything, but that it made him want to puke and that he didn't want to "hear any BS about how it's natural and beautiful, because it's NOT".
I went off on him right there on his FB page.
Obviously I needed to blow off some steam from this past week. AND he was acting like a GIANTdouche, so he deserved it. Come on, you are a 35 year old man, and she was sitting IN FRONT OF YOU with her back to you, and you admitted that you didn't even see anything, so WTF is the big deal?
However, they are coming to visit/stay with us in a month. Now I feel like I shouldn't have done that....
Re: Perhaps I made a mistake...
If you were mean and nasty or something, then it may be awkward, but you're right - he was being jerky by posting a comment like that, so you had every right to express your own opinion.
Are these the same friends that suck at returning calls and informing you of the plans surrounding their visit? I seriously think I'd be making them stay in a hotel if they're that freaking flaky and stupid. haha
Those are the ones! No I wasn't mean or defamatory or anything, I just told him that he DID have the ability to avert his eyes and mind his own business if he didn't like it...
I'll just play it off as a little "friendly debate" if it ever comes up....even though I did not intend it as friendly whatsover.
