S/O Restaurant Week

DH's birthday is at the end of the month. I'm looking for a reasonable place to take him. Some place that isn't very loud. Right now I have Tokyo Grill as a back up and reserving a private dinning area their, but I'm still looking.

Re: S/O Restaurant Week

  • What about Rose's?  When I think of quiet and cozy, that's the restaurant I think of.

  • That's in EGR right? We've never been. Anything on the menu you can suggest.

Also SUPER cute Siggy. Not just of the family but He-Man & Shera

  • Oooh I second Rose's.  Everything I have had there was delicious!

Thanks!  Yes, Rose's is right on Reed's Lake in EGR.  The only bad part about Rose's is that they don't have call ahead seating or take reservations.  So you might have to wait for a bit if you go on a Friday or Saturday night.  I love their squash bisque and wood-fired pizzas best, but I've never had anything bad there.

  • We went to Rose's for our anniversary after many raves from GR folks.  We liked it, but I was disappointed with their gluten free "options" (ie salad) just like with the rest of the Gilmore Collection.  If you don't have any special dietary needs it is probably more enjoyable.  However, we did get to sit right on the edge of the patio and watch the baby ducks.  That & $2 happy hour made up for my lack of exciting meal.

I really love Bar Divani, but it can get loud after a while (the after dinner crowd) and is much cheaper if you're on their birthday list (free entree).  It's a nice splurge.
