Hey gals, I hope there is just a wee more positivity out there to spare -- for a tiny special someone! 
Tomorrow I am going for my first trimester screening ultrasound. This, combined with some blood work I've already had drawn, will tell us what are risks are for chromosomal abnormalities. Being of "advanced maternal age" I am nervous about what we'll find (though in my heart I think things will be okay). Depending on the results, we may opt for further testing, but I am REALLY hoping we won't have to do anything more invasive.
I figure, the more positivity out there, the more healthy baby vibes that are in motion, the better, so please think of us tomorrow, if you can! I'll update as soon as I can afterward (the appointment is at 9:30 tomorrow morning (EST).
