i'm thankful for a WONDERFUL extended birthday celebration weekend spent with the birthday boy.
we had a squadron picnic at the beach yesterday which was a lot of fun. then we had a mini-vacation and spent the night at a waterpark resort on saturday night because sunday morning we both ran in an international road race! dh ran the half marathon - he got FIRST in his age division!!!!) and i walk/ran the 5k and 1. didnt die 2. finished in a respectable time (considering I'm NOT a runner) and 3. actually enjoyed myself.
lastly we finally had our couples massage today - OMG IT WAS MAGICAL. i've never gotten a spa massage done before..... body scrub, 60 min massage, facial then oatmeal bath with the husband, oooooh
que romantico! it was awesome.
Life is good. I ? Guam.
I am thankful for sone time off on Friday. It was much needed and I don't feel as overwhelmed with some Christmas things. I didn't get as much sleep as I wanted, but I feel like I got some things accomplished. I have Thursday and Friday off this week to go with my friend to our annual Christmas shopping and dollywood in pigeon forge.
I am also thankful that we have the freedom to worship and go to church where we want and to believe what we want and not be killed for it. I see these countries where you have to go underground to church and it makes me sad.
Today I am thankful for my happy marriage.
K and I have had a rough year, but as far as our relationship goes there were no challenges.

Im thankful for all of the free firewood my Dad gave us yesterday. It's been keeping us warm this cold weekend
