How is everyone? Hope you all had good weekends.
I've been off work since last Thursday and I hate coming back. My friend from Germany is here and it's so nice having another girl in the house. I wish I could take the entire 2 weeks off that she is here.

Hello. It seems like things are slowly but surely going back to normal in my house. DH's 2+ week cold is gone and David's ear infection appears to be gone too.
On a surprising note, David asked to use the toilet while we were out shopping. I don't know if it was a ploy to have us let him out of the shopping cart or what. DH took him in and he tinkled a bit in the toilet. Now if we could only get him to do that at home, that would be great.
Potty training has been a no go as of now. We've tried to put him in underwear a few times but he freaks out if he doesn't have his diaper on. I don't want to force anything on him because he is the stuborn type that will hate something if it's pushed on him too much. So we were waiting for clues from him to let us know he was ready. He was barely telling us if he had a dirty diaper. So hopefully, this is the first step into getting him potty trained. It's getting hard to change his diaper.
As far as I'm concerned, I'm doing good. My gag reflex is absolutely out of control this time around. Simply thinking about something causes me to gag. I do feel different this time around and I'm trying to hide it from work until the end of this week, but my stomach is not cooperating much. It's hard to find loose fitting clothes that don't look like PG clothes.
How are things with you? Anything special planned while your friend is in town?

I'm doing alright today. Got a bunch of things crossed off my list to get done with work today and it has made my boss really happy!
Declan was sick all weekend and is feeling better today. I'm hoping to get out of work early enough to take him to the park today since the weather is so nice here!
Have fun telling work. I don't know why but that always seems like a hard thing to do.
We've just been hanging out a lot the past few days but we've been shopping, to a football game and a movie. We went to the resort where Dirty Dancing was filmed. The weather has been crappy but we hope to go hiking this weekend and who knows what else.
