Potentionally stupid-$$ Store tin foils
I want to make some freezer meals next weekend. The tin foils and pans are usually 2/$4 at regular grocery stores, but somehow, they are only 3-4/$1 at the Dollar Store. Is there something wrong with them? I'm all paranoid that they are toxic or something (obviously, they're not sincethey're still on the shelves).
Is there a better alternative to tin foils? I'm gonna be making lasagna, enchilladas, baked ziti, meatloaf, meatballs etc.
I already made chili and lentil soup and I froze those in ziploc baggies. I also canned chicken noodle and tomato soups and those are, obviously, in glass mason jars.

I'm sure there's nothing wrong with them. They can't sell things that are considered toxic, just like any other store. However, aluminum used for cooking is correlated with Alzheimer's and it's a use of metal that is difficult to reuse or to clean sufficiently to recycle, so i would opt for another option.
I use jars, but that wouldn't work for most of your dishes...
What about this? Line the bakeware with parchment (compostable), freeze in the dish and remove when frozen. Store in plastic freezer bags (which isn't great, but is easy to wash and reuse).
