I'm looking for some black, leather, flat boots but I'm not sure that these are the answer. I think they're a good price but the scrunched leather around the ankle is what's holding me back.

I think they're something you'd have to see on. With just the picture they look like the boots I wear when I ride my horses but I'm sure they're much cuter than that when they're on.

I like them alright- including the scrunched leather. I like a heel on my boots, though, so I may not be the best judge. I think if they had a heel, they would be very cute (although I know that's not what you're looking for).

i like them... i don't love them though. i think i could deal with the ankle area but i feel like they're a little too plain. i wish they would show how they look on an actual person. the price is right though...

Thanks for the advice ladies.

I wish I could pull off a heel on a boot but all the lower heeled boots are fug (at least the ones I've seen) and the high heeled ones I have a hard time pulling off because I'm about 5'11 with socks on. It makes H look like a midget and me feel self-conscious.

I wish I could find some that weren't so plain but that would go with multiple looks and outfits.
