needs stocking stuffer ideas
I can't think of anything good or original to put in HH's stocking this year. Last year I put some of his favorite snacks and candy in it, plus a pair of funny boxers. I want to do something better this year, any ideas?

Re: needs stocking stuffer ideas
A cool little flash light, if he fishes little things that you use for fish. I always get Bernie stuff for the bathroom in his stocking from bath n body so it is like giving me a good smelling man for a gift haha. Um new toothbrush. he hunts right? does he camp when he hunts? If so there is always fun little stuff in that section for camping and possibly hunting that you can put in his stocking.
This might seem random, but when I was growing up we always got the exact same thing in our stocking every year, with maybe a few little "new" things thrown in to spice it up.
When I met Dave, I found out that his family did the EXACT same thing.
And both of our stockings are remarkably similar, so we still do this for each other every year.
Some of the things that are in our stockings:
- a new toothbrush
- razor blades and shaving cream
- a magazine or two
- an apple and an orange (in mine) / an apple and a chocolate orange in his (which he hates and doesn't eat, but he still gets every year...it's a joke now)
- a little box of chocolates (Ferraro Rocher for me, or maybe After Eights...his are usually random)
- socks
- gum
- that is pretty much it for all the regular stuff, but I'm definitely forgetting something.
- additional things are anything small enough to fit in there. I've gotten jewelry, a book, gift cards to Starbucks or iTunes, Tim Hortons or Subway...just small amounts to places we go ALL the time, a DVD, scarf and gloves or mittens.
Could he use a new wallet, or new earbuds for his mp3 player?
Stockings are my favourite part of Christmas, lol
Pam! I can't believe I didn't think of that! He hunts, fishes, and we camp during the summer. He needs a new tackle box anyway, I could get him one of those and fill his stocking with tackle and other little odds and ends. I have a feeling Gander Mtn is going to get alot of business from me in the near future haha! Thanks
Glad I could help sometimes it takes perspective.
Haha J your stocking and my kids stocking very similar. Their chocolate orange is the gummy livesaver storybook. Giggle!
Must have a candy cane of m&ms, the circle thing called gum tape. Gift card for 5 or 10 bucks for subway, target, I-tunes. Stuff like that. Some Fragrance stuff from bath & body. Ferrara Roche a must. Giggle mittens, socks new toothbrush ALWAYS!!!
Stupid double posting! Sorry!
For years we got a toothbrush, Lifesavers, gum, Altoiods, chapstick, and other little stuff.
The big thing that my dad gave us was new windshield wipers. He said it's something everyone needs and why not change them just in time for winter.
A lot of the things that were mentioned are things that I've gotten in my stocking in the past or things that I'm planning on putting in DH's stocking: gum, chapstick, boxers (panties for me of course), chocolates (usually Reese's Christmas trees for me but DH likes Kit Kat/3 Musketeers/M&Ms), maybe a $5 gift card....
PS - Stockings were always my favorite too! My sister and I like to save them for last because they're so exciting. Ours are usually overflowing!
I thought of this, I think I might do that to
