My head is going to explode
Yeah, I'm all baby posting in this joint today. It randomly occurred to me that my kid is an inch away from being too long for his infant seat, so I'm researching convertible seats.
Way too much info. Way too much.
Re: My head is going to explode
Will this help? We use Britax seats. I got Owen the Britax Boulevard 70 (it's the new model). Maggie has the Roundabout, it's smaller. But she's smaller. She could easily still be rear facing in it, but we had to turn her when we moved her seat to intstall Owen's carseat base as Mike wouldn't be able to drive the car if she were still RFing.
We also considered the Graco My Ride 65. The Costco Sencera is a good cheap seat for grandma or for occasional use.
I've been looking at the Graco My Ride. I'm wiling to pay for the Britax if it is legitimately better, but I've found several reviews saying the Graco seems to work the longest for height which I imagine is going to be our issue if he keeps growing at his current rate.
It's so hard to get past the "if you don't buy a britax, you don't care about your child's safety" hype that is everywhere.
He's 5 months old, and nine month pants are just barely long enough.
Maybe people were hoping for something interesting and then were like "Damnit, another lame-o baby post! I hate babies!"
My other theory is secret board, since apparently they're hard up for posts these days.
Husbands should be like Kleenex: Soft, strong, and disposable.
My next question (because I am just that interesting today). Do you have two seats or have one vehicle that primarily transports the kid?
I thought infant seats were supposed to last them for at least a year!
You can't reuse infant seats either, right? If we have more than one kid, we have to buy a new infant seat each time for safety reasons?
We have a snugride, but I can't remember which one it is. If it's the one that only goes to 29" we're almost there.
The hair grows in thick where the horn used to be.
You can reuse them. If they have not been in an accident and are not old.
