Wedding /Engagement Picture question

My daughter is doing some redecorating. She is not sure if she has too many pictures from the engagement/wedding on her walls. I told her I would ask y'all! The number is in "frames". If you have a frame with 4 or 5 photos, it counts as one! Also...what are your thoughts on it?[Poll]

I included the number of frames that are just sitting around, not nesecarily on walls. On walls, we only have 2. Adding in the frames that are just sitting around, there are 5.

Was it "Juno" where the adopting couple had weird pictures of themselves all over the house? As long as she doesn't go that crazy, I don't think it matters because they can always be replaced with pictures as their relationship/family grows. I chose 6-10 because we're actually just getting on the picture train now, and 6-10 seems about accurate.

I put down 6-10. That includes smaller frames that are sitting on a table, etc. I think you have to take into account how big your house is, how big the photos are, and how much other photography/art you have up. We have a small house so I only have two large wedding photos up in public spaces (I didn't count the ones in our bedroom because we have more in there) but I have a ton of other photography up of friends, family, flowers, landscapes, etc... so the wedding stuff doesn't seem overwhelming. I probably have overkill on photography in general though. ~ha~ So don't ask about that. Smile

We actually don't have any on the walls, but have 2 displayed on a bookcase in the dining room and 1 next to the bed.

Thanks ladies! She has a smaller house and at least 6 of those black multiframe things that hold maybe 8 photos each...plus some on the mantle and dresser. I'm thinking it seems like a lot now, but as life goes on, she'll probably replace them with new events in their life.

Six multi-pic frames and then some (like 50+ shots of the wedding??) seems like a LOT to me, especially in a smaller house.

Love the siggy pic of your quartet! Is that you in the middle?

We had close friends who only had wedding pictures or engagement pictures on their walls--no other art or photos. Some were huge too like 20"x something. It was over kill and it really seemed like they loved themselves. I would say they had 5 large photos framed, then 10+ small frames and multi frames that we could see in the common areas.

We personally have a group shot and 1 wedding pic in our entertainment center. I didn't want to go over kill
