I hate Tuesdays. They are almost never good days. Here's a run down of my day so far:
The dinner I made last night (which was also supposed to be my lunch today) has royally upset my stomach. So not only do I not have lunch, but everything I've eaten today has hurt me. No bueno.
This morning, I spent 45 minutes on the phone with tech support, trying to fix our copier. I went through troubleshooting stuff, and then tried to schedule a service call. The end result was finding out that no one will fix our machine because it would be more expensive to fix than to just replace. Oh, and I had to explain the problem like 6 times.
I think I've been pushing the running too much becuase today my legs hurt. Not soreness, but pain. Like, my shin bones will actually throb with pain every so often. And it sort of feels like my muscles are trying to break free of my bones. So, no workout for me today. Even standing hurts.
So, in short, I'm a big old mess. I hate Tuesdays.

Also.... do you need new sneakers? Could be your culprit for the shins.
I don't think it's my shoes. I got them in July, so they aren't old. I think it's because I've been pushing my pace and weekly mileage, and now my legs are pushing back. I've had shin splints before, and they didn't feel like this, so maybe I just need to take a few days off, or whatever. I also ran more on grass last night than concrete, so I could just be weirdly sore from that. Dunno.
I may have a cupcake. I have one left.
Ha! Oops.

Most sneakers, when used 4-5 days a week for 3 months, get old and miles are used up...so it's a possibility!
