So I ended up scheduling an interview...
And against what some people said...I disclosed I was pregnant.
I basically said I defintely still wanted to interview, but needed to talk to guy before hand as i wanted to be as candid and open (bc thats how i roll) with him/the company as possible. so guy (interviewer) called me, and asked me what was up...i basically said...there is a lot of controversy on whether or not i should i even disclose this information to you, but i don't think it's fair to you to not know ahead of time if it impacts your decision on wanting me to come in for an interview or even the position...my husband and i recently found out i am pregnant" and his response was "that's exciting! and totally much better news than I thought you were setting me up for! ha ha" So...he's probably just blabbing and giving me the opportunity to come in and discuss the positrion, but i'm not anticipating getting the job by any means, or even do i know if i would want to switch (FWIW, my company is SO FLIPPING volatile, as many of you know...and todays stress was NOT good for me-- i know i know, the grass is not always greener, i get that...), but I need to explore options.
So anyways, yup. I came clean. Some say don't some say do. I don't even know if they have maternity leave, but i'll cross that bridge when I get there. Hell, doesn't hurt to keep your interview skills up.
And, this guy actually went to my college- which is one reason I think he's bringing me in (it's on their website)...and then i found his linked in profile and realized he went to school- THE SAME TIME I DID. No idea who he is...Hopefully I will recognize him,...!

Good luck with the interview, I'm sure you will do great. And I think it was probably smart to disclose the pregnancy. At least they know and if you do get the job, you won't have to be scared to have that conversation.

Well, at least that conversation's out of the way! I think I would feel better if they knew I was pregnant before going into the interview and hiring process.

I think for your health it was better for you to tell. You just don't seem like the type of person to keep things like that hidden when you know they might make a big impact. I told my HR Director when I was 5 weeks (before I started the job) b/c I called to find out when my health insurance started. I waited until 12 weeks (when we knew it was viable) to tell my boss but I felt better about telling HR.
Plus, I mean, you've accepted that it might make a difference- not to say you're not going to be hurt still if it does, but you're being honest with yourself, too.
