j was awake when i got home last night from work (woohoo to getting out at 10:45 on a 11:00 night!) and without me asking, he gave me a shoulder rub.

-TJ is finally getting another tooth! He has had his bottom front 2 teeth since 4 1/2 months and we've been waiting for more to come in but nothing was happening. I'm glad hes getting more!

I am on day 3 of low carbing and I feel really good...the first like week usually is hard to deal with because of the readjustment to no sugar, but I haven't had nearly the problems that I would usually have....
I am slowly getting my house back together after out vacation...it just takes forever.
I got my lappytop back from Dell and it is totally fixed and clean!!!
My last 2 classes EVER are tonight. (I still have a few papers to submit via email over the next few weeks...but I won't have any more classes to physically be at!) Woohoo!!!
My FIL had to go for cardiac cath today and found out everything is good! So that's awesome news! Hubby was so worried he was going to need surgery.
Plus...since FIL is good...the guys will all still go hunting this year...which means they are gone from day after thanksgiving for about a week! Love it!!!
Got offered a new job with a $10K/year increase in apy plus full fmaily benefits. Turning in my resignation on Friday...and starting new job 1/10/11.
I've lost 6 lbs in 8 days...not trying - totally stress related from the whole losing my job situation, but I guess it's a perk...although I wasn't really trying, my size 6's are pretty loose now.
They are letting people go at work in "waves" and I am one of the last ones to go. About 1/4 of the staff leaves Dec. 31, most people on March 31, and 6 of us are kept til June 30, everyone but me is a senior-level scientist. They told me they chose to keep me even though I'm not senior management, because of my excellent work. Which is pretty flattering....
Crossing my fingers that one of the 2 rentals I inquired on (w/pool near beach) are available!
