Well, happy hump day.
We're having a soup kind of week this week. Monday we had butternut squash soup for dinner, last night I made up a pot of black bean soup to have for lunches for the rest of the week, and today we're having the cashew butter chicken stew again. I guess it's that time of year when soup just seems like such a nice idea.
We've been doing well keeping the kitchen clean so far this week, so I think tonight I'll tackle the giant pile of to-be-folded laundry.
How is everyone doing today?

We'll just not tell H about this little fact, m'kay?

Re: Good Morning.
Happy Wednesday ladies. I guess today is my Monday since we just got back from Norway last night (pics to follow), and I'm just getting back into the swing of things at work. I think we're in the same food boat this week, raynes, as I'm sitting here eating some chicken chili for lunch! I love soups and stews this time of year. I have to dig into the freezer for dinner tonight though, since we need to get groceries following our trip - fish and chips it will be. A different kind of comfort food I guess.

Good morning, ladies. Your soups sound yummy, raynes. I have a butternut squash at home - maybe I'll make that. We finally got some snow last night, and it's supposed to snow again tomorrow, so I'm in the mood for soups and stews.
Have a great day, everyone!
ETA: I'm very excited about our SS draw!
Good morning, all.
We've also been having soups/stews/chilis recently. I made a yummy chili for football on Saturday, and then a Thai Chicken soup on Monday night. Yum...
Two of my meetings for today got canceled, so I'm happy about that! So now I just have office hours and have to teach tonight (and do a ton of work, but who wants to think about that...)
Good morning, ladies. Today is my Friday, but I still have to get through the rest of the conference. It's been more or less easy, but the hours are late so I am tired. I can't wait to get home today.
Morning ladies.
Not much going on for me today, except I have a lot of work to do. I also need to try and get done my self assessment here at work. UGH I hate doing those, they are such a PIA.
So enjoy your day ladies!
Good morning!
I was in meetings all day yesterday (in the school, but not in class) and today I'm desperately trying to keep my head above water with piles of crap building up all over my desk
Also, I'm feeling guilty about my grade 7s. Because I teach 3 grade 8 sections and one grade 7, my 7s are always the last to get my attention. =( I really need to work on that!

Happy Wednesday ladies. This week has been fairly slow at work, which is a nice break from the craziness of the last few weeks. I have a friend coming to visit this weekend, so I need to start straightening up the house this evening to get things ready. B and I are definitely not the neatest
Of course, it didn't help that the kitties knocked over their litter box, and I discovered it while getting ready for work this morning. I'm so thankful for having a dust buster--I really don't know how I would have cleaned up that mess without it.
Good Morning Ladies!
We had another productive evening at the house. Our closet is now organized and looks great.
SIL text an update this morning. Induction started last night. She was put on some oxygen for the baby because her heart rate went down a little but it sounds like she is doing well. SIL's blood pressure is still high but manageable. Now I just have to hold in my excitement and get some work done. This will be niece/nephew # 7 for us but it is my first from pregnancy/birth if that makes sense so I am so looking forward to holding her!
I have decided when I get PG and have a baby it will be a long road for DH and my doctor. I am a nervous wreck for SIL.
Have a great day everyone!
Good morning. I have a giant pile of to-be-folder laundry, too. And a list of about 20 things I want to do to the house before the holidays start and people start coming over.
This week has been eternal and I can't wait for it to be over. I tried to make yesterday Wednesday all day. Plus, the stupid Clomid is making me an even bigger b!tch than usual and giving me hot flashes.
Just ignore me, I'm not in a good place right now.

Rebaann - hugs to you
Today I slept in until 9:30 since I took a muscle relaxant last night so I'm just trying to get moving now. I do have quite a bit of cleaning to do around the house today and I would like to work out at some point.
I have an appointment with the physiotherapist today and also I'm going in to get a trial of daily disposable contacts. Hopefully the new contacts solve my blurry vision issue.
Have a great day.
Good morning girls. I'm jumping on the soup train as well, I have chicken tortilla soup in the Crockpot!
So glad we finally got some snow last night, it's starting to feel more like November now. Can't wait for more snow tomorrow.
rebaan, I hope your day gets better, hugs!
Bailey, so glad to see you back around here, I've missed you!
Today is going to be a long day. I have to work all day (and actually be productive) and then it's SIL's baby shower tonight. My sister and I got her some really cute stuff so I'm excited for her to open it all. But I do have to say, the closer it gets to my niece being here, the more the baby bug is starting to get to me. Ah!
Sounds like soup all around, I have white chicken chili in the crockpot for tonight and told DH that french onion soup was required this weekend.
I learned this morning that a scoop of vanilla protien powder in my hot chocolate made it vaguely seem like hot chocolate with marshmellows and that made me happy.
Good morning.
It's been a soup kind of week for me, too, raynes. I made butternut squash soup last week and put the rest in the freezer, eating that for lunch today. I also made broccoli soup this past weekend so I'll finish that up tomorrow. I love soup this time of year!
Today is only my Tuesday, as I work Saturday this week, as well. I'm closing tonight at work which means I'll be there until at least midnight. Ugh.

Thanks Charity! I'm so glad to be back. I'm missed you guys so much! They moved me from a cubicle to an office so I have a little more privacy now.....and less chance of getting caught!
I never thought of putting protein powder in my hot chocolate - I'll have to try this!
I tired it once and it was an epic fail. Mind you, I tried to mix a full scoop into already prepared hot chocolate, so maybe that's it.
