girl-23 - and anyone who's made dog treats
Hey, can you tell me a bit about your homemade dog treats? Are they easy? I'm guessing it's like making cookies....
My coworker/friend/work husband just found out his dog has lymphoma and/or leukemia and I thought I might make him up some treats and I know you've tried a few.
Thanks!

We'll just not tell H about this little fact, m'kay?

Re: girl-23 - and anyone who's made dog treats
:::butting in, sorry:::
I've made doggie cookies, and it was easy. Basically bland people cookies that I rolled out, cut with cookie cutters, and baked. A local cooking store had a doggie bone and kitty cookie cutters, so I use those. The shelf life isn't as long as commercial treats, but they're so much better. I'd love some new recipes, though . . .

No prob Les, I guess I should have titled the post "People who have made dog treats" because snoopy probably has too.
I like the idea of making them in kitty shapes. It's funny.
