good place to buy jeans for bigger guys?
my housemate wants me to help him pick out some new jeans. he's a bigger guy and most regular stores don't carry his size (appx 46" waist with a shorter inseam). he's on unemployment so doesn't have a lot of money to spend.
any ideas on stores that will have bigger waist sizes in some basic (not super trendy) styles? he's not a designs on the butt pockets kind of guy. he just wants to look good for the ladies. : )

Check Eddie Bauer in their Big/Tall section. My ex was the same and he always found stuff there.

Judging
JCPenny has a Big & Tall section with fairly decent prices (and sales/coupons!)
Casual Male Big & Tall (in Burnsville) has a very wide variety of sizes, they're pretty spendy though, IMO.
The Casual XL Men's stores are our newest find for DH. He was brand loyal to Lands End until he wore their pants and undershirts. He's now a lifer! The waistband LOOKS normal but it's adjustable and unbelievably comfortable, says DH. Those are for the khaki's anyway, can't remember if we've tried the jeans yet.
The employees at the store near us are extremely helpful.

I love Hensley's too! Big D just got a pair of jeans at Casual Male that he really likes too.
Otherwise, we have gone to K & G in Bloomington several times as well.
