1. What are your plans for Thanksgiving? Are you splitting the day between families or trading off holidays? We haven't made plans yet. We typically spend the day with my family but eventually I am sure we will have to switch.

3. What do you do the day after? Shopping? If so what are you hoping to buy this year? No shopping plans as we are trying to void buying things. I hope to set up the few Christmas decorations we have.

We're hosting here at the house again. DH's side is just his mom and BIL. My parents, sis/BIL, nephew/wife, nephew/GF will all be here. I think one of my brothers and his wife will come down on Friday. We just eat all day, play games, watch TV, etc.

Hmm, if I was going to my auntie's it would be her pumpkin pie and my other auntie's cranberry/pomegranate jello mold. At our house, no clue.

Don't know if I'll try to go shopping this year or not.
1. We typically go to my Grandma's house but she is going on a 2 week cruise so we will just stay home and make a turkey and all the fixings. We get my step-kids at 4 pm that day so it's likely they would have already eaten.
2. Mashed potatoes and stuffing. Pumpkin Pie with whipped cream!
3. Last year we went shopping. My cousin got in line on Wednesday before Thanksgiving at Best Buy so she was first in line. I got in line with her about midnight on Thanksgiving. We got 2 laptops for really cheap. I may go again this year, but I'm not sure yet. Depends on what deals are out there.

We would have gone back to IN to visit my family but I just came back from Maternity leave. I didn't feel comfortable taking more time off, even though I had to vacation time. So we are spending the day with the IL's. Not sure if they are going to decide to eat out or have someone cook. Our place isn't big enough to host or I would. I just hope we don't do another Thanksgiving at Mimi's.

The past couple of years I have cooked my own dinner the day after since the IL's have insisted on going out to eat. We are also planning on going and picking out our Christmas tree. While the turkey cooks I decorate the tree. We shall see how that goes with Ivy now being here.

Normally we would try to do one family on Thurs, than the other on fri but I think we might do both familes on thurs so we can have the whole rest of the weekend to ourselves.

Given DS will be very small, I don't think I'll be cooking like I normally do. So I don't have any actual plans yet. The IL's will probably bring food over to us.
