Our little miracle baby
We had our first ob apt yesterday.
Its official !
I am 10 weeks pregnant!
Luckily, the Nurse and Doctor at the office are so amazingly kind and smart. They instantly made my husband and I feel comfortable. First, the nurse provided us with alot of information and then she took my bp and listened for the babys heart beat . It took her a while . She would hear it for a second then it would go awway. she said even though the baby is so small it is moving around quite a bit. But she narrowed down where she thought she heard it and said the doctor would listen too.
My poor husband sat there the entire time while I got a pap smear and breast exam...
then he checked my uterus to see how far along I am. He said that it feels like 10 weeks :-) and then he tried to listen for the heart beat. We heard it for about 10 seconds total (on and off) and
he said the babys heart beat sounds strong and is measuring at 138 beats per minute. :-)
All I could do was thank god over and over and smile at my husband.

we will see the doctor every 4 weeks for a while. At 20 weeks will be our first us! Im pretty sure thats all we get too. But, the doctor will listen for the babys heart at each apt. so we are very grateful for that. It sure feels like a miracle knowing that there is a babys heart beating inside me and growing strong
