OOTD plus a poll
So first, here's my outfit:
red sweater from Anthro, brown tee underneath from Gap, boyfriend jeans from AE, and brown flats from Rocket Dog (purchased on Amazon).
And now for the poll...
Do you guys really want to keep doing this? I like seeing/reading about people's outfits, but not many people participate and it makes me feel sort of AWish and vapid, which wasn't my intent starting it. So be honest.

I voted to keep doing it, but I agree w/ you, I feel AWish and shallow. Plus I have to google my heart out to find pics, cuz I'm a loser and don't have a cool phone NOR a full length mirror.
Maybe if we did it once or twice a week?
Today I'm wearing a multicolored patterned dress (from Dress Barn), solid black patent belt, grey tights and LB patent black boots. Sad, I can't find pics...
I like it. It makes me feel stalker-y because I really love some outfits. I randomly post because I'm so boring.
I'm wearing a dark brown shrug, a white tank top from ny &co. Khaki colored wool pants, brown/light brown striped socks and my awesome shoes that I posted yesterday.
See? Boring. I need to accessorize more. And actually put effort into my hair/makeup.

That's not a bad idea. Maybe we could do a recent purchases thread on Mondays (for people who shopped on the weekend) and an OOTD Fridays, or something like that.
A girl I work with has either these shoes, or similar shoes, and I love them. Just a little heel, but she can wear them all day, and they are soooo cute. She seriously wears them at least 3x a week, and they work with a lot of different outfits and even some cute patterned socks now that it's winter.
I don't play for two reasons. 1 - I don't know remember where some of my clothes are from to google, and I'm too out of it in the morning to remember to take a pic. and 2 - I hate the PIP process of having to upload to snapfish and then go to tiny pic (unless I'm completely wrong about this). I really miss the simplicity of TK's PIP.
That being said, I don't mind if it continues.
I hear ya. Two things: you can just describe the outfits, like Brew did. And if you have a pic on your computer, you don't have to go to Snapfish and then tinypic. You can upload it straight into tinypic. Alternatively, if you like having your pictures in a Snapfish-type format, you could put them on Photobucket, which will give you a link that you can use to PIP. Still an extra step, though, from just clicking the button to get them straight from your computer.
Or, you can just not do it, that's fine. I have a feeling we'll probably just stop doing it altogether, or move to once a week.
I vote for Recent Purchases Thread on Monday and instead of OOTD, on Fridays we could do OOTW(eek).

There's one here, but I exclusively shop their sale section online. I just go by the reviewer comments to see how it fits. If there are no comments, I don't buy it!
Laura, I know exactly how you feel. It's why I didn't post yesterday in your absence. It makes me feel like a total AW posting a pic everyday. I feel especially stupid cause sometimes I'm the only one posting photos of myself. It's so much easier than googling all the pieces.
That said, I LOVE seeing everyone else's outfits and it encourages me to try to dress nicely.
Also, this board is kinda dying so it's nice to have at least one daily post I know I'll be excited about.
It's not so fun when there are only a couple people doing it.

I feel the same way! And taking a pic of myself is definitely easier (and faster), plus it shows you how it really looks together and on the person posting (rather than a mannequin or anorexic model). If I had a full-length mirror, it would be better. This morning I forgot to take a pic before I left the house, sorry!

I was actually going to do a recent purchases thread yesterday but didn't have the time to find pics of my recent purchases.
I don't mind the OOTD, but I don't dress up for work EVER, so my outfits are so lame. I'm too lazy to start dressing cute just so I can post my OOTD's but trust me I thought about it.
I voted to keep it even though I don't participate. I don't think anyone who is posting pictures of outfits is AWish at all.
I figure none of you really care/want to see that I wear a different colored sweater, jeans and the same Nike tennis shoes practically every day to work. I'd like to wear cuter stuff, but I'm saving money for Christmas shopping instead of buying new stuff.
But I do like the idea of a weekly outfit(s) PIP and new purchases PIPs.

I voted Yes, but wouldn't mind if we stop. I like the idea of an OOTW, and a weekly recent purchases. I don't dress up a ton for work, but I can usually pull off once a week and AW that one. I would also like our purchases thread to have any recent purchases, not just clothing. This may or may not be b/c I just bought a new sofa that I love and want to AW.
I'm wearing those same brown flats today, Laura! I love them! They're so comfy. Also, a maroon silk tank from The Loft with Jeans and this cardigan, which I love to pieces:

Rachel - I feel like I see these flats everywhere now, which is a testament to how awesome they are. I was at the mall this weekend and saw a gray pair that was almost silver-ish and I thought, 'oooooh!!!'
I think recent purchases can definitely include non-clothing items. I'll be sure to make that clear when I start the thread Monday!

I'm such an outdoorsy tomboyish type I feel like I have no fashion sense at all. For example, I just bought a really cute dress for our work holiday party, but I don't even know where to start with pairing shoes and jewelry. I'm bad at being a girl. I'm trying, though. That's what matters, right?
I think you need to start a thread, PIP the dress, and tell us what you're thinking, what shoes you already own, etc.
I voted that I like it, but wouldn't mind if we stopped doing it. I don't always have PIPs of my outfits - I'm too lazy to take a pic of myself and post if if the clothes aren't already online somewhere.
I don't think anyone is being AWish here at all, and I really like reading / seeing everyone else's outfits!
That being said, today I am wearing dark blue skinny jeans, a pink graphic t shirt, gold sequin flats and a navy blue wrap sweater
It's the blue dress from BR that Citygirl posted a few days ago for her HS reunion. Perhaps I'll start another post. Does that make me an even bigger AW??
