DH and I will be in his hometown Hollywood, FL for Thanksgiving...so no cooking for me. Sorta sad about this. I'm sure to some action in MIL's kitchen though!
If not, what are your Thanksgiving plans?
We'll be in Hollywood, FL for Thanksgiving day and we have a bat mitzvah to attend that Saturday...Sunday we'll be going to Orlando for my b'day and spending time with my family and our friends...so excited to see everyone!
What is your favorite Thanksgiving dessert?
One year on Oprah, she has a recipe for Pumpkin Chiffon Pie...OMG, it's the best!!
My Mom and I are co-hosting Thanksgiving this year. We make Butternut Squash Soup, Stuffing, Mashed Potatoes, Gravy, Creamed Cauliflower, Cranberry Chutney, Green Beans and Almonds, and a few other veggie side dishes TBD.
Dessert is a big thing in our family for Thanksgiving. My Mom makes a killer pie crust, so she usually makes 4 crusts and my sister and I make the fillings- apple pear cranberry, pumpkin, cherry, and pecan.
Hi Ladybug! What?s up? We miss you around here. ;-)
I'm making mashed potatoes to send over to my ILs, I'll probably make something for my mom's, and I'll probably do at least 1 dessert for each house.
We'll be going to my mom's house in NJ (about a half hour away) for dinner, then to my ILs for dessert.
My personal fave dessert is my aunt's ambrosia, it is SOOO good. She always makes extra so I can take a big container home with me.
Are you cooking for Thanksgiving? Nope, being I'll be 8 1/2 months pregnant, I got out of that one this year. hehe
If so, for how many and what side dishes are you making? N/A
If not, what are your Thanksgiving plans? We're heading to NJ (my dad's bro's house) and spending the day there. If we get back early enough, we may stop by DH's sister's house. What is your favorite Thanksgiving dessert? Pecan pie...and I'm making 1 to bring to my aunt and uncle's...yummy!Are you cooking for Thanksgiving?

The husband and I are going to be at my boss's house - bear in mind, my boss is like a mom to me really. My mom passed away 7 years ago, I have a very small family. My husband doesnt have a good relationship with his, so we typically do our own thing. We're excited to go.
The menu is: Filet Mignon, Lobster, Crab Legs, Scallops and King Shrimp (she's flying that in from Alaska!), some kind of crown pork thing, and of course a Turkey and all the sides.
What is your favorite Thanksgiving dessert?
I dont really have one. Im in charge of the desserts for Thanksgiving at her house, so I'll be making pumpkin whoopie pies, maybe two-three different kinds of truffles and something else.

Yes I am.

Just DH and I - we'll be fresh from our vacation plus I just can't be bothered with hosting yet. I am making a baked chicken (turkey is just too big for just us), green banana pie, mashed potatoes, stuffing, red beans, cranberry, asparagus.
If not, what are your Thanksgiving plans?

What is your favorite Thanksgiving dessert?
I like apple pies. I don't think I will have the energy to make one, so we'll buy one.
