Intro and ??

Hi Ladies =)

I came across this board a long time ago, but took a pretty long break from the bump/nest and never introduced myself. My name is Eileen and I live in Rancho with my husband and 2 year old twins, Keira and Ethan. I was a SAHM until just this past September when I started going back to school to work on my master's degree. I hope you don't mind if I join your board?

I also have a question.....my husband and I have been wanting to do wine tasting in Temecula for a few years now, but have never gone. We made plans to go this Sunday, but have no ideas which wineries we should try. Any recommendations? How many places do you think we'll be able to try, just going for the day? Any restaurant recommendations in that area for dinner?

Thanks! I look forward to getting to know all of you! =)

  • HI and welcome to the board!!!

As for wineries-I really like Wilson, Ponte, and Thornton. Alot of the wineries have restaurants but I've never tried them. Our FAVORITE restaurant in Temecula is the Public House in Old Town Temecula. The Goat Toast is so good you'll want to lick the plate.

  • Welcome! I haven't been to too many wineries yet but I have enjoyed Wilsons Creek and Mt. Palomar.
  • Welcome!

It's been so long I've been to the wineries I forgot the name of my favorite wine there, but it's on the right at the base of a hill when you first go in. lol

  • I don't have any recs for wineries but wanted to say welcome to the board!

Ditto this! Especially Wilson creek and Thornton.

My H and I also love going to Old Town- there are several wineries down main street that are fun to go to as well :)

    Welcome to the IE Board!
